Entry Costs
Team Entry: £45
Institutions are limited to entering a maximum of one team.
Entry Process
To apply for this competition:

Entries will need to be submitted via the team entries section of our online entry system, BUCS Play (Instructions on how to do this can be found here)

Please speak to your Institution Administrator as they will need to enter the correct number of teams for you.

Competitors then need to apply for the respective event. (Instructions on how to do this can be found here)

Institution Administrators must assign competitors to the correct team during the approval process. (Instructions on how to do this can be found here)

To check whether you are eligible to compete in BUCS competitions, please visit REG 4 Individual Eligibility.
No entries will be accepted after the entry closing deadline under any circumstances.
If you experience issues entering via BUCS Play before the deadline of 20 August 2026 this must be reported through BUCS app support. Any issues that have not been brought to BUCS’ attention before this deadline will not be considered for entry.
Hosting
All institutions/Playing Entities must complete the Hosting Expression of Interest, to enable us to create the conferences. Please only complete the form if you have already entered your team on BUCS Play.

The hosting windows for the Duel Meets (Phase 1) are:
- Hosting Window 1: Wednesday 7 Oct – Friday 23 Oct 2026
- Hosting Window 2: Wednesday 28 Oct – Friday 13 Nov 2026
- Hosting Window 3: Wednesday 25 Nov – Friday 11 Dec 2026
The hosting window for the Conference Finals (Phase 2) are:
- Hosting Window: Wednesday 6 Jan – Friday 12 Feb 2027

Meet Dates and Venues
Once the conferences have been released, all teams must confirm the date and venues for their home meets as per SWI 8.2.3.
Please complete the following form to notify us of the dates you will be hosting the meets:
Team Champs Hosting Submission (Note: This form will only be available once conferences are released)
The deadline for dates and venues to be submitted is Sunday 13 September 2026 at 23:59. Failure to submit by this date will incur a fine of £30 per fixture.

All competitors should be familiar with and understand available gender categories and regulations under REG 4.3. Please find further information on gender eligibility here.
PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEOGRAPHY
Anyone wishing to take photos or video at this event must complete the BUCS Media Accreditation Form prior to the event. Once you have completed the form, please go to the BUCS Desk at the event to receive your media accreditation.
BUCS reserves the right to prohibit photography equipment being used at a BUCS event. BUCS reserves the right to request that the individual ceases to take photographs, deletes any images and, if considered necessary, leaves the venue.
