The sixteenth edition of the prestigious Master U BNP Paribas World University Tennis Championship took place in Honfleur, France between 1-3 December, where eight high-performing nations from across the world competed against each other in an enthralling mixed team tournament.

At the last Paralympic Games in Tokyo our athletes and alumni secured an impressive total of 35 medals, including 18 golds, meaning BUCS would’ve finished in 9th place if it was a country.

University students and staff were joined by Sue Caton, Eric Liddell’s niece, and 2014 Sports Hall of Fame Inductee, Eilidh Child, to officially cut the ribbon and open the refurbished Eric Liddell Gym at the University of Edinburgh. 

Funding from BUCS and The FA will be provided to nine universities to generate new participants and upskill the student workforce.
