The BUCS Football Development Network Day is a dedicated in-person event for university staff involved in the planning, delivery and development of football and futsal programmes across higher education. It provides a space for the university football workforce to come together, connect, learn and share best practice, while staying informed on the key trends, challenges and opportunities shaping the sector.
BUCS delivers 2 Football Development Network Days each season. The first takes place at the start of the academic year and is designed to help institutions prepare for the season ahead, align on priorities, and share practical ideas that support programme delivery. The second takes place towards the end of the season and provides a chance to reflect on progress, celebrate success and recognise outstanding contributions across the network through a national awards ceremony.
Equally important, the Network Day gives institutions the opportunity to meet the BUCS Football Development Team in person, engage directly with programme updates and wider support opportunities, and connect with peers from across the country. Whether you are new to BUCS Football development activity or leading an established offer, the Network Day is designed to be relevant, practical and supportive for all attendees.
Details and registration for the next BUCS Football Development Network Day will be avaible in July 2026.
