Less players, more skillful. You'd be wrong to think it's in the same League as Union.

With over 60 teams in our Rugby League programme, the fight to be the best university in the country is on.

The end of rugby league season finishes with a battle for bragging rights at BUCS Big Wednesday.

Leagues and Knockouts for 2020-21

The Rugby League programme will run in Term Two only and there will not be any promotion or relegation between leagues at the end of the season. These decisions were communicated with our members in June.

The format for the programme has been confirmed to members and the 2020-21 leagues and fixtures will be released on Friday 15 January. Fixtures will be scheduled from 24 February, but these will be flexible to individual institutional requirements.

All fixtures will be subject to any institutional, NGB, UK government, devolved administration or local authority rules, regulations and guidance in relation to COVID-19 in place at the time.
