Programme Overview:
Traditionally, the BUCS Karate Championship has both individual and team championships.
There are two different types of karate competitions that students take part in:
- Kata - this has three different levels dependent on students experience
- Kumite - this is based on students weights and experience.
International:
Students can also compete internationally and represent the GB Students team at the World University Championships.
