Written reasons explaining the outcomes of Match Appeals

Match appeals can be lodged for fixtures in Team Championships (Leagues/Knockouts). To learn more see REG 15.

Each season we publish summaries of appeal cases, including decisions and any sanctions imposed, to aid transparency and to be used as an educational tool. Published summaries of appeal cases do not carry the names of any institution/Playing Entity or individuals involved.

Below you will find documents containing summaries of match appeals ruled on in the current season and the previous two seasons.

Please note: Whilst these case summaries may be helpful for institutions/Playing Entities to refer to when considering whether or not to submit an appeal, or how to respond to one, and the BUCS Appeals Panel/Disciplinary Panel will refer back to previous cases of a similar nature when making a ruling, it is important to note that every case is different and so however similar cases may seem, no specific outcome is guaranteed. It is also important to note that between seasons, regulations change and so regulations referenced in cases from previous seasons may differ from current regulations.
