Description
The Student Representatives will represent the views and experiences of student riders within the BUCS Equestrian programme, and act as an ambassador for BUCS Equestrian, helping to strengthen communication, engagement, delivery and advocacy across the sport. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Act as an ambassador for BUCS and the Equestrian programme. · Establish relationships between BUCS and student-riders within member institutions. · Build and maintain a communication network with other students-riders across the UK, and representing these voices at BUCS Equestrian Event Management Group (EMG) meetings or through continued feedback to the BUCS Event Lead · Offer insight and feedback on the current BUCS Equestrian structure and provide feedback to ensure the sustainable future of the Equestrian programme within BUCS. · Help develop an annual development plan encompassing student feedback as one element of the plan. · Attend all relevant EMG meetings and provide any updates on actions from previous meetings. · Attend BUCS Equestrian National Finals (3 days total) to aid in the smooth running of the event (Unless qualified as a participant)
