Reserves
All reserve sailors must also enter on BUCS Play and be approved by an IA as per the entry closing dates. Any students not approved as a reserve on BUCS Play after entries have closed will not be eligible to compete.

£330 per team + £330 Charter Fee charged by SSS
Events and BUCS Points Available

There has been a change to the allocation of BUCS Points for Team Championships (Events) for the 2026-27 season. Under the revised model, BUCS Points are now awarded across an entire gender category at each Championships as a whole, with teams from all levels of competition combined into a single ranking. Please see Appendix 1 and REG 6 for more information and to see the available BUCS Points.
Entry Allowance
Entries are limited to 20 teams.
Entry Process
To apply for this competition:
- Entries will need to be submitted via the team entries section of our online entry system, BUCS Play (Instructions on how to do this can be found here)
- Please speak to your Institution Administrator as they will need to enter the correct number of teams for you.
- Competitors then need to apply for the respective event. (Instructions on how to do this can be found here)
- Institution Administrators must assign competitors to the correct team during the approval process. (Instructions on how to do this can be found here)

Photography & Videography
Anyone wishing to take photos or video at this event must complete the BUCS Media Accreditation Form prior to the event. Once you have completed the form, please go to the BUCS Desk at the event to receive your media accreditation.
BUCS reserves the right to prohibit photography equipment being used at a BUCS event. BUCS reserves the right to request that the individual ceases to take photographs, deletes any images and, if considered necessary, leaves the venue.
