Leagues and Knockouts for 2020-21

Following the latest UK and Scottish Government announcements, plus the continuing lockdown measures in place across Wales and Northern Ireland, we have revised our delivery plans for Term Two and Three.

The proposed league and knockout programme for 2020-21 has been cancelled. As a result, we won’t be releasing fixtures on Friday 15 January as previously stated.

A consultation on a potential offer for team sports later in Term Two and/or Term Three will now take place.

Lacrosse 8s

It is anticipated this event will see a temporary change to Lacrosse 6s for the 2020-21 season, due to impact of the pandemic. It is expected to be held the first week in June, more information will follow in mid April.

It will be run in line with guidance from England Lacrosse and subject to local and national restrictions regarding Covid-19.

For London based students, the London Universities Sports League (LUSL) also offers an alternative recreational programme to BUCS fixtures.
