The UNIversal Gym membership continues to grow as the scheme welcomed Ulster University. This marks the 81st BUCS member to join and now means over 100 gyms are involved in the scheme.
The UNIversal Gym membership allows staff and students access to other university gyms linked to the scheme if they have taken an annual peak gym membership out at their university of study or work.
The scheme, now in its third year, has been developed by members within the BUCS Physical Activity Board. The aim is to work collaboratively as a sector for the benefit of the health and wellbeing of students and staff, add value to the student experience and retain gym memberships within the HE sector.
