We’re delighted to release our Diversity & Inclusion Action Plan.

The release of this action plan demonstrates Sport England’s approval with our direction towards diversity & inclusion and represents the first steps that we need to take as an organisation to fully achieve our vision and mission.

The action plan also presents an opportunity to establish a baseline of our internal data, policies and processes.

In the plan, we provide context as to where we are now relating Diversity & Inclusion, before examining the five pillars: Strategy & Leadership, Governance, Representation, Stakeholders and Data.

We also look at the 2-3 year outlook before reviewing and discussing how we will embed EEDI across all our work streams and throughout our relationships with members.

This is not the only work we are doing in this space. For example, working with the nearly formed Race Equality Implementation Working Group to structurally address racism experienced throughout BUCS sports. You can find out more here.
