Following discussions between BUCS and BSTF, the event delivery partner, BSTF has this month decided not to renew the agreement for the delivery of the BUCS Taekwondo Championships for this academic year.
What Does This Mean?
There will be no delivery of BUCS taekwondo via BSTF this season in its current guise. The previous delivery format consisted of:

We respect their decision and appreciate the partnership that has formed the base of BUCS taekwondo since 2019. We would like to formally thank BSTF for their collaboration and commitment to delivering BUCS taekwondo events and wish them every success for the future.
Looking Ahead
We understand the impact that this may have on our members and their students, and we would like to reassure our members that BUCS remains committed to supporting the delivery of taekwondo events in the future.
We will be undertaking a review of the sports involvement in BUCS and engaging with the appropriate Governing Bodies of the sport to ensure we can deliver an exceptional student experience for all involved as part of the BUCS programme moving forwards. The BUCS Executive will work as quickly as possible to implement the above as we work towards finding a positive solution for all.
