Pairs 

• Registration & technical meeting will take place at the marquees on Centre Court on Wednesday 8^th June.
• Registration will open at 8am and close at 8.30am (all students must bring their student ID)
• Technical meetings will start at 9am
• Failure to register or attend the technical meeting will be subject to a £20 fine
• Play will start at approximately 9.45/10am

Mixed

• Registration will open at 8.45am and close at 9am (all students must bring their student ID)
• Technical meetings will start at 9am
• Failure to register or attend the technical meeting will be subject to a £20 fine
• Play will start at approximately 9.30am

BUCS Points are available for the top 8 finishers in both Men’s and Women’s Pairs for the Championship, Trophy and Shield (dependent on entry numbers).

Institutions should advise Jude Pickett of any withdrawals so that where possible these spaces can be re-allocated if there are any entries on a reserve list.

Please note that any teams who do not attend the Technical Meeting on the morning of Wednesday 8 June will be fined £20. Any teams who do not attend the competition at all without withdrawing in advance will be fined £30.

Kit regualtion update:

BVB 3 Playing kit Teams must wear matching playing tops in institutional colours, numbered front and back with each player wearing a different number.

In all matches where tournament appointed referees are not supplied, teams will be expected to first referee and second referee/score. In the case of tournament appointed referees being present, teams may still be expected to 2nd referee and/or score.

There are hot and cold food catering outlets stationed along Sandbanks Promenade which will be accessible to participants.

A first aid qualified member of staff will be provided at the event. An ambulance will be called for any medical issues that require more advanced attention.

The use of drones at BUCS events is strictly prohibited. The only permissible use of drones will be with the express permission of BUCS for professional companies with appropriate licenses, insurance, risk assessments and in line with all the requirements of the CAA (Civil Aviation Authority). The unauthorised use of drones will result in disciplinary action under REG 17, and the relevant authorities being notified e.g. CAA.

The tournament will be played under BUCS General Regulations, BUCS Beach Volleyball Regulations and FIVB Official Beach Volleyball Rules.
