Competition Format

The BUCS Standard Distance Triathlon will comprise of a 1500m lake swim, 40km bike, 10km run.

1,500m OWS on the Great Broad, 40km cycle and 10km run on the path (mixed terrain) which follows the perimeter of the Great Broad.

The swim commences from Whitlingham Adventure (WA) with competitors starting from the front steps before being ushered in the water.

The bike route takes competitors right out of transition along Whitlingham Lane towards Trowse, before heading out through the stunning South Norfolk route shown on the map to your right.

The run route starts with you turning left out of transition on to a short section on Whitlingham Lane before you turn right into the picnic field. There is then a short section through the woods before joining the path around the stunning Whitlingham Broad for 2 laps. It is then back into the main field and into the finish line.
