Teamsheets
Players must be added to teams on the BUCS Play system by 23:59 on Thursday 14th May 2026. The squad size is a maximum of 15 and minimum of 6. No more than 9 players may be on the field at any one time and no more than 5 males on the field at any one time.
On the day Team Captains will have to name their batting order to umpires before each match.
Playing Surface
All games will be played on grass surfaces. Football studs can be worn.

- The 11 Teams will be split into 2 Pools (1x5 and 1 x6)
- Teams will play all teams in their Pool during the morning games
- The top 4 teams in each pool will advance to the quarter finals –
- Winner of Pool A v 4th Pool B
- R/Up Pool B v 3rd Pool A
- R/Up Pool A v 3rd Pool B
- Winner Pool B v 4th Pool A

Withdrawals
To withdraw from the event, please contact your Institution Administrator who should inform the event lead. All withdrawals will still be charged the entry fee.

Parking
Parking is free at the venue. There are plenty of spaces, including spaces for coaches/minibuses. Please ensure you use the What 3 Words location above for the accurate location of the parking.
Umpires
Umpires will be provided by Rounders England and will have a minimum qualification of Level 2 on the umpire pathway.
Food & Drink
There is a bar at the venue that will serve snacks and drinks and will have burger and chips available during the day. Any alcohol consumed on the premises must be bought from the venue - You cannot consume any other alcohol on the premises at any time.
Changing Facilities
There are numerous changing rooms that will be available throughout the entirety of the event, on-site at the venue.
Para Sport
The event has no specific para categories, however disabled participants may be able to compete in this event. Please contact [email protected] to discuss further.
Photography & Videography
Anyone wishing to take photos or video at this event must complete the BUCS Media Accreditation Form prior to the event.
BUCS reserves the right to prohibit photography equipment being used at a BUCS event. BUCS reserves the right to request that the individual ceases to take photographs, deletes any images and, if considered necessary, leaves the venue.
Sustainability
The sustainability of our event matters to us and these are the positive steps we are taking to manage our environmental impact:
- All staff and volunteers are encouraged to travel to the event via public transport
- We have used local suppliers where possible
- Event programmes are all online, minimising paper use
- We will print on demand merchandise (if applicable)
- We are beginning to track our carbon footprint across BUCS events to identify areas of improvement.
How can you help at this event? Here’s some ideas:
- Be self-sufficient by bringing your own refillable bottles and coffee cups to reduce waste
- Ensure you are disposing of waste correctly – Check around the venue for specific recycling and food waste bins
- Travel smarter – as a team on a minibus, cycle or use public transport
