Entry Costs & Dates

(Students/ Competitors must apply by this deadline for Individual Events, Institutions must ensure that teams and a team captain are entered and assigned on BUCS Play by this deadline for team events)

Thursday 13th April at 11:59pm - Institution Administrator Approval Deadline & Team Join Deadline


(Institutional Administrators are given 48 hours after the student/ competitor deadline to approve entries for Individual Events, students/competitors must ensure that they have joined their respective teams and a team captain/administrator has approved their application on BUCS Play by this deadline for team events)

ENTRY COSTS
Men’s and Women’s Individual Championship: £10.75

Mixed Quartet (Team Event): £10.75

Women’s Triad (Team Event): £9.25

Mixed Pairs (Team Event):  £7

Mixed Team of 8 (Team Event): Free but team members have to be entered into the Individual Championships.

Entry Allowance

Institutions can request an unlimited number of non-guaranteed entries for this event. In the event of oversubscription, BUCS will communicate how entries will be capped.

Entry Process

To apply for the Individual Championships:

  1. Competitor to apply to the event on BUCS Play (Instructions on how to do this can be found here)
  2. Institution administrator approves entry (Instructions on how to do this can be found here)
  3. BUCS approves/denies entry into competition and publishes confirmed entry list

To apply for the Mixed Team Championships:

  1. Institution Administrators must submit a team entry on BUCS play. Instructions on how to do this can be found here
  2. Competitors will then need to apply to join their respective team on BUCS Play. Instructions for this can be found here. Competitors should ensure that the correct number of people are in the team, e.g. 4 in a quartet, 2 in a pairs team. If you are submitting more than 1 entry, you will need more than 1 team. Your 1st team (Will be labelled as '1' on BUCS Play) should always be your strongest competitors.
  3. BUCS approves/denies entry into competition and publishes confirmed entry list.

Withdrawals

Withdrawals should be made via email to Chris Lamb, by your institution administrator.

Withdrawals made before the entry deadline of April 13 at 23:59pm will not be charged the entry fee.

Withdrawals made after the entry deadline of April 13 at 23:59pm will still be charged the entry fee for that event.
