Entry Costs

NRA Entry Fee:

Individual Championships (Grand Aggregate): £700 (£420 Under 25s)

Team Short Range Championships (Musketeers): £285*

Team Long Range Championships (Universities Long Range): £195*

*Ammunition costs can be reclaimed for team members shooting concurrent in another team event

BUCS Entry Fee:

An admin fee will be charged with each entry which is invoice by BUCS after the event

Individual Championships (Grand Aggregate): £3 per individual

Team Short Range Championships (Musketeers): £5 per team

Team Long Range Championships (Universities Long Range): £5 per team

Overall/Extracted Team

The overall/extracted team category results will be calculated using performances from all the listed categories. ‘Match points’ will be assigned to placings in each category, with teams ranked based on the total number of points they have earned.  All shooters will contribute towards their institution’s team placing as follows:

An institution requires a minimum of 2 entries to be eligible for the Overall/Extracted Team.

Entry Allowance

Team Short Range Championships (Musketeers) & Team Long Range Championships (Universities Long Range):

  • Teams consist of four individuals
  • These teams are open meaning they could consist of four males, four female or a mix of male and female
  • All potential team members should join the team on BUCS Play in case of injury/illness etc. Anyone not approved on BUCS Play will not be able to be listed on the scoresheet. No new names can be added on the day

INDIVIDUAL ENTRY: Individual Championships (Grand Aggregate)

To apply for the competition all eligible competitors must follow these steps:

  1. Competitor to apply to the event on BUCS Play (Instructions on how to do this can be found here)
  2. Institution administrator approves entry (Instructions on how to do this can be found here)
  3. Competitors MUST also make their entry to the NRA via https://online.nra.org.uk/imp26-tr
  4. BUCS approves/denies entry into competition and publishes confirmed entry list

TEAM ENTRY: Team Short Range Championships (Musketeers) & Team Long Range Championships (Universities Long Range)

To apply for this competition:

  2. Please speak to your Institution Administrator as they will need to enter the correct number of teams for you.
  • Competitors then need to apply for the respective event. (Instructions on how to do this can be found here). All potential team members should join the team on BUCS Play in case of injury/illness etc. Anyone not approved on BUCS Play will not be able to be listed on the scoresheet. No new names can be added on the day.
  1. Institution Administrators must assign competitors to the correct team during the approval process. (Instructions on how to do this can be found here)

Presentations

Presentations will take place on Saturday 25th July, with any uncollected awards being posted to competitors.

BUCS Medals will be awarded to the following:

  • Men’s individual 1st, 2nd, 3rd
  • Women’s individual 1st, 2nd, 3rd
  • Long range team 1st, 2nd, 3rd
  • Short range team 1st, 2nd, 3rd

Parking

Free parking available throughout Bisley Camp. Please be mindful of restrictions when driving on or near live ranges.

Photography & Videography

Anyone wishing to take photos or video at this event must complete the BUCS Media Accreditation Form prior to the event. Once you have completed the form, please go to the BUCS Desk at the event to receive your media accreditation.

BUCS reserves the right to prohibit photography equipment being used at a BUCS event. BUCS reserves the right to request that the individual ceases to take photographs, deletes any images and, if considered necessary, leaves the venue.
