What is HIIT Cricket?
HIIT Cricket is a new female specific programme for beginners and developing players at university level.
The game takes softball format, that incorporates some rules from the Hundred competition and some from indoor cricket, so it really is like nothing else. The aim is for it to be a social, fun environment, where people can come along try cricket out and get some exercise.
LUSL will be running the very first HIIT cricket festival at the Oval open for all London University Students.

Key Event Information
Venue/Arrival Instructions
Getting to the Venue: KIA OVAL, SE11 5SS
Best option is to arrive via public transport as there is extremely limited parking available. If you do need to drive, please notify Vicki Howard as soon as possible so she can enquire about reserving a space.
You can wither arrive via Oval tube station or Vauxhall station, however when arriving at the Oval, please enter via the John Edrich Gate, the one closest to the pavilion (identified on the map below with the red star). The festival is being held in the Ken Barrington Centre (KBC) (identified on the map below with a purple circle). Our staff will then meet you there for registration.

What to Bring/Wear:
Please wear sporty, comfortable clothing that you can move/run in. It can get cold in the KBC, so it would be wise to wear layers that can be removed as necessary. Wear trainers where possible and please do not wear any open-toed shoes.
Please also bring your own refreshments; water/drink, snacks. There will be nowhere to purchase these on site, so please ensure you have everything you need with you.
Event:
Please arrive as close to 1:00pm as possible so your team can be registered. Once all teams have arrived, you will be given a briefing and our staff will provide you with the Order of Play for the afternoon. Any questions, please speak to one of our members of staff and they will be happy to assist.
The event should all be finalised by 5:00pm.
We look forward to meeting you all on the 1st!
