Check in
All participants will be required to check-in, including proof of student eligibility (student ID) & British Fencing (including Introductory) membership.
Check-in will open at 09.30am, and closing times are as follows;
- Epee - 10.30am
- Foil - 11.30pm
- Sabre - 12.30pm

- Foil Poules
- Foil Knockouts
- Sabre Poules
- Sabe Knockouts
Times and running order subject to change throughout the day. If a competition finishes early we will go straight into the next one, so make sure to arrive in plenty of time.
The event will run from 09:30-16:00
Referees
This event will be self-refereed by fencers in their poule/DE, however fencers are encouraged to bring experienced members of the club or coaches to assist at the event.
There will be an Event Manager & DT on-site to handle any queries.
Formula
All competitions will start with poules, and all fencers will be promoted to the Direct Elimination stages of their grade/weapon.
Please note that the organisers reserve the right to change the formula to assist the smooth running of the competition and to improve the experience for the participants. This may include merging of grades or genders to facilitate a desirable competition experience, or implementing unique DE brackets to ascertain winners for certain grades or genders.
Fencers who wish to enter more than one weapon are encouraged to do so, however may be asked to prioritise one weapon over another if necessary. Should a fencer be unable to compete in both weapons entered due to this, they will not be charged for the weapon they have conceded.
Equipment Requests
Any equipment being used by fencers should meet British Fencing Safety Guidelines.
Prizegiving
Prizegiving will take place at the conclusion of all weapons' direct eliminations.
Gold medals will be awarded to the winner of each weapon, grade and gender where there are competitors.
Where grades or genders are merged, results will be extracted to determine winners accordingly.
