Refereeing

This event will be self-refereed by fencers in their poule/DE.

There will be an Event Manager & DT on-site to handle any queries.

Formula

All competitions will start with poules, and all fencers will be promoted to the Direct Elimination stages of their grade/weapon.

Please note that the organisers reserve the right to change the formula to assist the smooth running of the competition and to improve the experience for the participants. This may include merging of grades or genders to facilitate a desirable competition experience, or implementing unique DE brackets to ascertain winners for certain grades or genders.

Fencers who wish to enter more than one weapon are encouraged to do so, however may be asked to prioritise one weapon over another if necessary. Should a fencer be unable to compete in both weapons entered due to this, they will not be charged for the weapon they have conceded.

Equipment

Unfortunately, no equipment is able to be sourced for hire at this event. If a request was made for a piece of equipment, please ensure you arrange this with your club, or email [email protected] who may be able to assist.

Prizegiving

Prizegiving will take place at the conclusion of all weapons' direct eliminations.

Gold medals will be awarded to the winner of each weapon, grade and gender where there are competitors. There will be no silver or bronze.

Where grades or genders are merged, results will be extracted to determine winners accordingly.
