SINGLE ENTRY
This competition will NOT operate a staged entry process. As such, please ensure all entries are submitted through BUCS Play prior to the closing date listed above.
Entry Standards
The following standards must be achieved by ALL competitors between 1 January 2019 and 12 April 2022.

These times must be attained from either a 10,000m track race in the first instance or a 10Km road race. The track time will take precedence.
Entry Allowance
Institutions can request two guaranteed entries (which must meet the equivalent entry standard) and two non-guaranteed entries. For 3 or 4 entries, ALL athletes must meet the equivalent entry standard. Entry standards must be achieved between 1 January 2019 and 12 April 2022.
However, should the event reach capacity, BUCS may need to restrict the number of entries per institution. In this circumstance, the Athletic Unions will be contacted to determine selected athletes.
Reserves
Reserved will be allowed to submitted on BUCS Play for this event. These individuals will be able to be substituted into the competition if there is a reason for withdrawal of another athlete. They must still meet the criteria mentioned above and have a relevant Power of 10 link provided upon entry. Reserves will be charged £1 per entry to cover administrative costs. The deadline for informing BUCS of a substitution of a reserve into the competition is 12 noon 28 April. This MUST be emailed to Cleo Lyn before this deadline.
Entries and Rejections
These will be published on 18 April with the pre-event information. Please note:
- No late entries will be accepted regardless of reason.
- Any entry without a Po10 link (or equivalent) will be rejected.
- Entries that do not meet an Entry Standard will be rejected.
- Entries without a BP achieved between 1 January 2019 and 12 April 2022 will be rejected.
- Entries without a BP submitted may be rejected.
Entry rejections are final and will not be discussed with the student.
