Following the announcement in October that BUCS would be launching a Regional Flag Football Series, we are thrilled to announce that all five regional events are now open for entries. All events will be delivered by OBE, an NFL approved 3rd party delivery agency, and have been sanctioned by BAFA.
The series will consist of standalone events across the following regions, Midlands, Northern, Scottish, South Eastern and Western. Each event will include an Open and Women’s category. For clarity on eligibility for each category, please consult the Gender Eligibility REGs here.
Why you should enter?
Come and experience this high-octane, non-contact version of American football. It is the fastest growing format of the game both in Great Britain and worldwide. This format offers additional competitive opportunities for current contact players and accessible entry points for athletes transferring from other sports, whilst enabling opportunities for those who want to give a new sport a try for the first time. With its confirmed debut at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games, who knows, the BUCS Regional Flag Football Series could be the start of your Olympics’ story.
