BUCS is taking a role to lead, report and support institutions dealing with problem initiations. When we receive a report about a specific activity relating to a BUCS member at an institution we will work with the institution involved to address the report and make sure appropriate action is taken.

When a report is received, our first step is to review and remove any information that may identify the individual.

Once we are happy that the report is fully anonymous, we will then get the institution that the report has identified involved.

The institution will be asked to investigate the incident and report back their findings.

Once we receive this report, we will evaluate the findings and consider whether further disciplinary actions should be taken. This process will then follow under REG 5 (Misconduct and Bringing BUCS into disrepute).
