Description

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Head of Netball to plan and lead on the delivery of coaching and recruitment for the University’s netball programme. The Head of Netball will join the management team in WLV Sport and will be responsible for the coaching of the British University Colleges Sports (BUCS) Netball team. Also, The Head of Netball will embed a recruitment strategy while providing a pathway of opportunities from development through to elite, striving to transition students into all levels of the participation pyramid.
 
Working with key partners such as; West Midlands Netball, regional clubs based out of WLV Sport facilities and England Netball, the role will help drive recruitment into University and actively promote regional/national governing body initiatives to increase participation in netball across the university estate. You will ideally hold a UKCC level 3 in coaching netball or share a desire to achieve this qualification in an agreed timeframe. Furthermore, extensive experience and knowledge of netball coaching at all levels is essential to this role.
 
The role is based at our Walsall campus, however there may be occasional travel required to other campuses.
