We are looking for two excellent individuals to join us as Outdoor Sports Operations Assistant, working as part of a small operational team at our satellite site, assisting with the daily operation of our outdoor sports facilities. You’ll spend the majority of their time lone working, so will need a good sense of autonomy.

About the role:

You will help ensure that the sports facilities environment is safe for use and that a high level of customer service is maintained at all times.

You will help get sport areas ready for activity (including moving equipment safely), ensuring bookings and users are greeted and assigned to facility areas, delivering first aid provision where required and providing a high quality and friendly customer experience.

There will also be a requirement for you to cover other operational tasks, as required.

You will play a key role in enhancing the University’s reputation for sport, and establish the University as one of the leading modern universities for sport within the HE sector.

The post holder will ensure that the role is delivered in line with our vision, mission and values at all times.

You should be a highly motivated individual with a real passion for sport.

You will work a 37 hour week, with your working hours on a shift based system which will include the requirement for you to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

You will be based at Langstone Sports Village.
