About Scottish Volleyball: Scottish Volleyball is the national governing body for volleyball, beach volleyball and sitting volleyball in Scotland. It is responsible for the development, promotion and delivery of local, national and international volleyball in Scotland Scottish Volleyball currently employs a team of 11 staff, supported by an ambitious board. Volunteers are a key aspect of our workforce in delivering a positive experience to our members. The Performance Advisory Group offers panel members unique experience in ensuring that our selection process are fair, equitable, and athlete centred.

Responsibilities of the Performance Advisory Group

To agree on selection criteria which determines performance effectively for beach and indoor volleyball

To ensure the fair and equitable application of selection criteria

To analyse the supportive evidence provided by programme staff

To ratify the criteria based selection of all athletes

The role of the panel member will be to provide experience and insight to the creation and application of selection criteria from a neutral perspective.

The panel member will participate in confidential analysis of selection and appropriate evidence to ensure that criteria are applied fairly and without prejudice removing the appeals process through thorough due diligence.

The panel member will have the opportunity to deliver Scottish Volleyball's value based approach by supporting the adherence to our core values: Professionalism, Resilience, Innovation, Communication, Excellence.
