Leeds University Union is a charity that helps over 38,000 students love their time at Leeds. Located at the heart of campus, the Union is a space to meet people, make new friends and get involved.

LUU is seeking an ‘Activities Team Manager (Sports and Health & Safety)’ to join our department. You will manage the team members who support student Sports Clubs (including Martial Arts and Outdoor Clubs) and provide administrative support across the Activities team. This is a fantastic opportunity to have a significant impact on the wider student experience, lead on BUCS, be part of delivering Leeds Varsity, implement local sporting initiatives and lead on our collaboration and partnership with the Sport and Physical Activity Department (SPA) at University of Leeds (Leeds Sport). Your role will enable student Sports Clubs to reach their full potential within a safe, inclusive and supportive environment. You will be a good manager who can get the best out of the team to deliver exceptional customer service to our student groups. If you are passionate about empowering others to strive for excellence, then we would be delighted to hear from you.

As a student’s union we are closed over the Christmas holiday period and on bank holidays so we have the best hours in the business! We have great internal training opportunities and we are looking for someone who has a real passion for helping us make sure every student loves their time at Leeds. We offer 26 days’ holiday (plus generous statutory and customary closure days) and a pension scheme.
