Registration

Registration opens at 14:15 near the Flint Barn Café where you will be given your race pack which includes your timing chip, race number and two stickers for you bike and helmet. Please ensure you complete your emergency contact details on the back of your race number as you will not be allowed to enter transition without it. Registration will close at 15:30. 

Transition

Transition opens at 14:15 and you will be directed once you have registered. You will have an allocated space in transition for your bike, helmet and shoes so make sure to keep to your space and respect other competitor’s space. Transition will close at 15:40 and will only reopen once all competitors are out on the run course. After 19:30 the site will become open, and any kit left in transition will be unsecure and may be moved.

Withdrawals

To withdraw, please contact your institution administrator who should contact the event lead.

The entry fee will not be charged for entries withdrawn prior to the entry deadline, Once the closing date has passed, entry fees will be charged for any withdrawals.

Food and Drink

Event caterers will be onsite and water is available on the run stage as well as at the finish. 

Photography & Videography

Anyone wishing to take photos or video at this event must complete the BUCS Media Accreditation Form prior to the event. 

BUCS reserves the right to prohibit photography equipment being used at a BUCS event. BUCS reserves the right to request that the individual ceases to take photographs, deletes any images and, if considered necessary, leaves the venue.

The sustainability of our event matters to us and these are the positive steps we are taking to manage our environmental impact:

  • All attendees are encouraged to share transport to the event;
  • We have used local suppliers where possible;
  • Event programmes are all online, minimising paper use;

How can you help at this event? Here’s some ideas:

  • Be self-sufficient by using refillable bottles and coffee cups to reduce waste
  • Travel smarter – as a team on a minibus, cycle or use public transport
  • Go paperless - use your phone for all event information
