Entries Open: Tuesday 20 September 2022

Student/Competitor Deadline: Tuesday 1 November 2022 at 23:59. (Students must apply by this deadline)

Institution Administrator Approval Deadline: Thursday 3 November 2022 at 23:59 (Institutional Administrators are given 48 hours after the student deadline to approve entries)

Staged Entry

Should the competition allow more entries a Stage 2 entry window will open. Priority will remain with the entries received before the Stage 1 entry closing date. Entries received in the Stage 2 window and accepted into the competition, will be charged an additional 20% fee.

Part of the BUCS Snowsports Dome Series 2022/23. 

This is a one day event consisting of both individual and dual competitions. The top performers in each event will qualify for the finals later in the season. 

A full schedule for the event day will be published in due course. 

Institutions can request an unlimited number of entries, however should the event reach capacity BUCS may need to restrict the number of entries per institution. Therefore when submitting entries on BUCS Play, entries should be ranked in order of preference of entry before being submitted e.g 1, 2, 3, 4. Should BUCS need to restrict entries this will be done equally across institutions. 

This means when submitting entries on BUCS Play, for both the Men’s competition and Women’s competition, competitors should be ranked in order of preference before being submitted. 

Please also ensure that Duals entries are ranked to reflect a complete team, i.e 1, 1, 1, 1 to show the competitors who make up one team, 2, 2, 2, 2 for another, and so on. 

IMPORTANT: no individual who has already appeared at a Dome Series regional qualifier (e.g Dome Series Midlands and South) can enter another regional qualifier (Dome Series North or Dome Series Scotland). 

Withdrawals must be made in writing by the institution administrator and e-mailed to Harry Spinks, the BUCS Event Coordinator.

Withdrawals before the institution administrator approval deadline (3 November 2022 at 23:59 [stage one]) will not be charged.

Withdrawals after the institution administrator approval deadline (3 November 2022 at 23:59 [stage one]) and before 23:59 on the 10 November 2022 will still be charged the entry fee.

Competitors who do not withdraw before 23:59 on the 10 November 2022 and do not attend the competition will be classed as a late withdrawal/no show and therefore will be charged the entry fee. They will also be fined £50 which will be charged after the event, to the competitor’s athletic union.

Should BUCS have to open stage two entries then new deadlines for withdrawals will be published. Reserves will only be charged an entry fee if they are accepted into the competition.

Withdrawal of a competitor does not guarantee a replacement into the competition. Reserves will only be charged an entry fee if they are accepted into the competition.
