Upon registration, you will be required to check in with a member of staff and present both your completed team sheet and valid student IDs for each player.

A competition briefing will be given at 11:45 for all teams, prior to the start of the competition.

To withdraw from the event, please contact your Institution Administrator who should inform the event lead.

Withdrawals received after the team join deadline of Thursday 17^th September will still be charged the entry fee. Withdrawals after the IA approval deadline of Thursday 24^th September, and any no-shows on the day, will be charged the entry fee and an additional £50 fine.

Coach parking on-site is dependent on space available, so please be prepared to operate a drop-off/pick-up service if required. Competitors driving their own cars will be able to park in the on-site car park.

Changing room facilities will be provided, with access available throughout the event, but the venue and the event organisers do not accept any liability for property left in the changing rooms unattended.

You may be asked to use the changing rooms on a rota system – please do not ‘set up’ in changing room for the duration; bags must be packed up and moved if requested.

All competitors will be required to bring food and drink with them for the duration of the day. Water bottles can be refilled on-site. The on-site café will be open during the competition, and bar facilities will be available for spectators and at close of play.

BUCS Points are awarded to the top 24 teams across an entire gender category, rather than separately by competition. This means that for Rugby League 9s, the top 24 teams from all competition levels within a gender category will be combined into a single ranking table. Trophy teams cannot finish higher than a team entered into the Championship.

Anyone wishing to take photos or video at this event must complete the BUCS Media Accreditation Form prior to the event. Once you have completed the form, please go to the BUCS Desk at the event to receive your media accreditation.

BUCS reserves the right to prohibit photography equipment being used at a BUCS event. BUCS reserves the right to request that the individual ceases to take photographs, deletes any images and, if considered necessary, leaves the venue.

• All staff and volunteers are encouraged to travel to the event via public transport
• We have used local suppliers where possible
• Event programmes are all online, minimising paper use
• We will print on demand merchandise (if applicable)
• We are beginning to track our carbon footprint across BUCS events to identify areas of improvement.

• Be self-sufficient by bringing your own refillable bottles and coffee cups to reduce waste
• Ensure you are disposing of waste correctly – Check around the venue for specific recycling and food waste bins
• Travel smarter – as a team on a minibus, cycle or use public transport
