(Players to have joined their team on BUCS Play)

Thursday 5th March 2026 at 23:59 – IA Approval Deadline

(Players to have been accepted into the team by a captain and/or Institution Administrator on BUCS Play)

ENTRY COSTS

£100.00 per team

SINGLE ENTRY

This competition will NOT operate a staged entry process. As such, please ensure all entries are submitted through BUCS Play prior to the closing date listed above.

Events & BUCS Points Available

BUCS Points are not directly available at this singular event. This event is a qualifying event for the National Championships. BUCS Points will be awarded after the National Championship event has taken place.

Entry Allowance

Places Available

Maximum 10 Teams

Prioritisation of Places

1st Teams will be prioritised over 2nd Teams. If there are still too many teams, priority will be given to teams who qualified for the National Finals in the 2024-25 season. Following this, teams will be drawn at random until there are no further spaces available.

Entry Process

To apply for this competition:

  1. Entries will need to be submitted via the team entries section of our online entry system, BUCS Play (Instructions on how to do this can be found here)
  2. Please speak to your Institution Administrator as they will need to submit your entry.
  3. Competitors then need to apply for their respective team. (Instructions on how to do this can be found here)
  4. Institution Administrators must approve a competitor’s application before their entry is confirmed. Institution Administrators are able to give team captains approval access to help with this process (Instructions on how to do this can be found here)

The event has no specific para categories.  Disabled participants may be able to compete in this event.  Please contact Rounders England for further information.

Withdrawals

If teams withdraw before the team entry deadline of Thursday 26 February at 23:59pm, they will not be charged the entry fee.

If a team chooses to withdraw after the team entry deadline of Thursday 26 February at 23:59pm, they will still be charged the entry fee.

The event guide for this event will be available shortly after the team entry deadline, including a list of accepted entries and a schedule for on the day.

Photography & Videography

Anyone wishing to take photos or video at this event must complete the BUCS Media Accreditation Form prior to the event. Please go to the BUCS desk at the event to receive your media accreditation.

BUCS reserves the right to prohibit photography equipment being used at a BUCS event. BUCS reserves the right to request that the individual ceases to take photographs, deletes any images and, if considered necessary, leaves the venue.
