(Institutional Administrators are given 48 hours after the student / competitor deadline to approve entries)

This competition will NOT operate a staged entry process. As such, please ensure all entries are submitted through BUCS Play prior to the closing date listed above.

The para athlete in the doubles pair must have finished university within the past 36 months, or be a current university student. The able bodied athlete in the doubles pair must be a current university student.

Guest entries will be accepted for this event. Guests entering must be Grade D or below, and not currently competing in the top two divisions of university competition.

Please ensure that BOTH members of each doubles pair enters the event. They should be ranked in their pairs, e.g 1, 1 for the first pair, 2, 2 for the second pair, and so on. 

All entries will be checked by the Para Badminton Committee once entries close, and any not matching these criteria may be rejected.

Alumni and Guests are permitted to enter this event. You will need to create an account on BUCS Play and join the Para Badminton Championships Event through the 'Guest' Institution. 

Alumni/Guest entries have to have paid your entry fee before your entry is accepted. 

Payments must be made via BACS to BUCS by Monday 6th February. Payment for entries not received by this deadline will be withdrawn from the event.

Competitor withdrawals must be made by a competitor's institution administrator emailing Harry Spinks, the BUCS Event Coordinator.

Withdrawals before the entry deadline (31st January 2023 at 23:59 [stage one]) will not be charged.

Withdrawals after the entry deadline (31st January 2023 at 23:59 [stage one]) and before 23:59 on the 7th February 2023 will still be charged the entry fee.

Competitors who do not withdraw before 23:59 on the 7th February 2023 and do not attend the competition will be classed as a late withdrawal/no show and therefore will be charged the entry fee. They will also be fined £50 which will be charged after the event, to the competitor’s athletic union.
