Alyth Golf Club once again welcomes competitors for the Autumn Trophy

Timetable

54 hole Championship at Alyth

  • There will be a cut after day 2 with the best 36 mens scores going into the final day
  • There wil be no cut in the women's event

Tee Times:

  • Monday 26 September - Tee times will range from 08:32 - 13:32
  • Tuesday 27 September - Tee times will range from 08:32 - 13:32
  • Wednesday 28 September - Tee times will range from 08:32 - 11:32

Registration

  • All players will be required to check into the club house to receive their playing card day and should arrive at least half an hour before their alloted tee time.
  • The draw for the Tournament will be distributed no later than 12 noon on Friday 23 September
  • Players will receive a live scoring code which they must complete as they go around the course.
  • Players will receive range balls, free of charge, which they can use before play each day

 

Practice

Any practice rounds will need to be booked directly with the club at the players own cost.

Order of Merit

This event forms part of the BUCS Golf Tour and Macpherson Order of Merit 2022-23.

BUCS Macpherson Order of Merit points for qualification to the BUCS Golf Tour Finals will be awarded to the top 20 men and top 20 women as detailed within the BUCS Golf rules and regulations.

Conduct

Players must not wear caps or golf shoes inside the clubhouse at any time and must adhere to the rules of the golf club/clubhouse.

Two referees will follow the groups during the competition ensuring all BUCS/SSS regulations are adhered to. Any misbehaviour or foul language from the competitors reported by officials or venue staff will be taken extremely seriously by BUCS/SSS and competitors risk penalties or disqualification from the event.

Withdrawals

Competitors withdrawing during the competition must inform Luke Gallen & Chris Purdie, stating their reason for withdrawal. Any withdrawals after the IA approval deadline (Thursday 15 September 2022) will still be charged the entry fee.

Competitors must also inform their institution they have withdrawn from the competition. Any competitor who does not show up to register for their opening round will be considered a no show and their institution will be fined £50 in addition to the entry fee for the event.
