Kick off the new season with insight, ideas, and connections at the BUCS Football Development Network Day, at the City Ground.

The BUCS Football Development Team is excited to host this new season’s first Football Development Network Day, taking place at the iconic City Ground in Nottingham. This free event brings together university staff involved in the planning, delivery, or development of Football and Futsal programmes across higher education.

The day will highlight how BUCS Football Development Team is supporting the growth of football in higher education and helping institutions enhance their student offer. Through shared learning, discussion, and updates from the team, we’ll explore how the football landscape is evolving and how we can work together to strengthen it. We’ll also share key developments in football initiatives, funding opportunities, and wider sector support available throughout the season.

Equally important, the event is a fantastic opportunity to connect with peers from universities across the country. Whether you're just getting started or leading a well-established programme, the Network Day creates space to share experiences, exchange ideas, and learn from others working in the university football space. The event is completely free, and lunch and refreshments will be provided, with all dietary requirements catered for.

The final agenda will be confirmed and shared with attendees shortly, but in the meantime, we encourage you to register now to secure your place. If you have any questions in the meantime, please email Dan Matthews / Alai Ayyakannu
