Entry Costs:
Team - £431.75 (Team of 4 - Riders must join on BUCS Play as per 2025-26 Ranking List. These will be checked on the day)
Qualifiers
If you have qualified and cannot attend you must inform the event lead, otherwise you will still be charged the entry fee.
Please see below for a list of qualifiers. If you have qualified, as a team or an individual, you must submit an entry on BUCS Play, following the steps outlined in the Entry Process tab below.

Entry Process
ENTRY PROCESS – INDIVIDUAL EVENTS (CHAMPIONSHIP ONLY)
To apply for the competition all eligible competitors must follow these steps:
- Competitor to apply to the event on BUCS Play (Instructions on how to do this can be found here)
- Institution administrator approves entry (Instructions on how to do this can be found here)
- BUCS approves/denies entry into competition and publishes confirmed entry list
ENTRY PROCESS – TEAM EVENTS (TROPHY & CHAMPIONSHIP)
To apply for this competition:
- Entries will need to be submitted via the team entries section of our online entry system, BUCS Play (Instructions on how to do this can be found here)
- Please speak to your Institution Administrator as they will need to enter the correct number of teams for you.
- Competitors then need to apply for the respective event. (Instructions on how to do this can be found here)
- Institution Administrators must assign competitors to the correct team during the approval process. (Instructions on how to do this can be found here)

Venue Information - PLEASE READ
Hats and Body Protectors
Please note that Sparsholt College follows a strict policy on the use of body protectors and hats, and therefore should conform to the relevant standards below. Hats will be checked and tagged at registration to ensure compliance. To be clear, if a competitor does not have equipment conforming to the below standards, they will not be allowed to ride.

Weight Limits
There is a weight limit of 14st, for horse welfare reasons. If this will affect you or a member of your team, please contact the event lead at your earliest convenience.

Withdrawals
To withdraw from the finals, please email the event lead. If you withdraw prior to the relevant entry deadline (28 May for Team entries, 2 June for Individual Entries) you will not be charged the entry fee.
Withdrawals after the entry deadline will still be charged.
