There will be a caterer on site across all three days, serving a range of hot and cold food and drinks. The catering team will be serving from 9am - 2pm.

There are also vending machines on site that can be used 24/7, however if you require something more substantial outside of the hours above, it is recommended for you to bring your own food/drink.

Clothing, Equipment and Hat Tagging

As per the entry information, the use of body protectors is compulsory, and hats and body protectors should conform the below standards. Hats will need to be bought with you to registration, where they will be checked and tagged.

BHS Approved Centres Hat Rules

BHS Approved Centres Body Protector Rules

To be clear, if a competitor does not have equipment conforming to the below standards, they will not be allowed to ride. Please ensure therefore that your hat and body protector conforms to the above standards.

Riders should not be wearing jewellery or piercings when competing. Please see EQU 2 - Rider Dress for full details on clothing.

Weight Limit

There is a weight limit of 14 stone, for horse welfare reasons. If this will affect you or a member of your team, please contact the event lead at your earliest convenience.

Competitors Meeting

At present, we do not plan to host the 'traditional' competitors meeting this year. Instead, there will be a number of opportunities for informal conversations with BUCS Staff and the Tournament Director, as well as providing feedback through the digital QR codes that will be around the venue. Having feedback through the official channels is vital and will allow us to best action any points raised.

Please come and speak to us whenever is convenient if you have any feedback!

Presentations

Presentations will take place on Tuesday evening, for the Trophy, and Thursday evening, for the Championship. These are expected to take place at approximately 19:00 for the Trophy, and 17:00 for the Championship, but this is subject to change at any point.

We will endeavour to keep people updated throughout the days competition.

Belongings

Please note that any belongings left unattended on site are at your own risk - BUCS is not responsible for any items that go missing whilst on-site at the event.
