For example, if an institutions submits 3 women’s entries and 2 men’s entries, they will be eligible for the women’s team competition, but not the men’s team competition.
If the event is oversubscribed, BUCS will restrict entries equally across institutions. Therefore, institution administrators should rank their entries in order of preference and if the event reaches capacity BUCS will use these rankings to determine places at the event.
Route Judges
Each competitor must supply the full names of two route judges, along with their preferred judging session, when entering on BUCS Play.
Competitors who arrive on the day without a route judge (Unless you are the only entrant from your institution) will be charged a £25 fine and will not be permitted to compete. The event relies on people volunteering to judge so please ensure you complete the form above!
Please note – Whilst BUCS will do everything possible to accommodate the route judges preferred session, this may not be possible. Please be sure to check the communications ahead of the event for confirmed climbing and route judging sessions.
