£95 per team.

Single Entry

This competition will NOT operate a staged entry process. As such, please ensure all entries are submitted through BUCS Play prior to the closing date listed above.

Events and BUCS Points Available

As this event is still in Probation, as per the Making Changes to BUCS Competitions framework, no BUCS points will be awarded this season.

Entry Allowance

We will run an Open Category and a Women’s Category at this event. A minimum of 4 teams entered into each category is required for that category to run. A maximum of 16 teams can be entered into each category. 

Institutions/Playing Entities may enter multiple teams into each category, however, if the event is oversubscribed, acceptance of all 1st teams will be prioritised before any 2nd teams are accepted and so on. Any entries not initially accepted will be placed on a reserve list and may be called up should a space later become available because of a team withdrawing prior to the event commencing.

Entry Process

To apply for this competition:

  1. Entries will need to be submitted via the team entries section of our online entry system, BUCS Play (Instructions on how to do this can be found here)
  2. Please speak to your Institution Administrator as they will need to enter the correct number of teams for you.
  3. Competitors then need to apply for the respective event. (Instructions on how to do this can be found here)
  4. Institution Administrators must assign competitors to the correct team during the approval process. (Instructions on how to do this can be found here)

Additional Information

BAFA Affiliation

All participants are required to affiliate with BAFA to attend this event. To purchase a BAFA Affiliation, please follow the link here. All affiliations will be checked on the event day.

Officials and Coaches

At the event, each team will be required to supply 1 official that will be added to the pool of officials. This official must have a BAFA Flag Football Officiating Qualification. This official can also be a player.

It is also recommended that each team has a minimum of 1 coach designated at the event. This coach, as a minimum should possess the BAFA Introduction to Flag Football for Community qualification.   

NB As part of the team entry fee, each team will gain access to 1 funded BAFA Flag Football Officiating Course and 1 funded BAFA Introduction to Flag Football for Community coaching course.

Photography and Videography

Anyone wishing to take photos or video at this event must complete the BUCS Media Accreditation Form prior to the event. 

BUCS reserves the right to prohibit photography equipment being used at a BUCS event. BUCS reserves the right to request that the individual ceases to take photographs, deletes any images and, if considered necessary, leaves the venue.
