BUCS Big Wednesday Host Tender 2028-2031 Now Open
BUCS is delighted to invite member institutions, alongside key stakeholders, to submit proposals to host BUCS Big Wednesday 2028-2031.
As one of the flagship events in the BUCS competition calendar, BUCS Big Wednesday is the culmination of the competitive league and knockout season. The event will draw over 2,000 of the UK’s top student athletes to compete for national titles, providing the host institution with a unique opportunity to showcase its facilities, campus and student experience on a national stage.
To support long-term collaboration, consistency and event development, hosting rights will be awarded for a four-year cycle, providing the successful host with the opportunity to work closely with BUCS in delivering an outstanding student experience year after year.
The tender document and accompanying appendices outline the minimum hosting requirements and provide essential guidance to help institutions develop a dynamic, innovative and comprehensive bid.
