The BUCS 2x results were extracted from the finals of the 2x racing with Cardiff Uni M2x Josh Bugajski and Rob Massey taking the Gold by finishing 4th in the A final.  Behind them in the B final were 3 University crews – the two crews from Imperial fighting it out for the Lightweight title – the win going to Wilf Kimberley and Tim Richards who beat Paul Jones and Miles Holbrough by just 2 seconds with the Durham crew of Barney Stentiford and Angus Groom finishing between the Imperial crews and taking the silver medal in the M2x.

In the women's races the Reading girls Bethan Walters and Lucy Cruxton finished 2nd in the C final to take the W2x gold medal with crews from Bath and Imperial taking the silver and bronze respectively. The competition in the WLwt2x was strong with four out of the six crews in the A final of the women's 2x event racing at Lightweights.
