ENTRIES:

Entries for the GBRT 1st Assessment in Boston should be completed via the British Rowing Online Entry system as set out in the GBRT event information which will be made available online http://www.britishrowing.org/gb-rowing-team/events/trials .

To be eligible for BUCS medals and BUCS points all competitors must also process an entry through BUCScore.  There is no fee attached to this entry – this is purely so that Athletic Unions are given the opportunity to confirm the eligibility of all student rowers to be entered in the BUCS events.

ELIGIBILITY: 

These Championships are open to students at institutions in membership of BUCS, who meet the eligibility regulations outlined in the BUCS Handbook and website.  As noted above all entries for the GBRT 1st Assessment in Boston must be made via the British Rowing Online Entry system AND on BUCScore if the competitor wishes to be considered for BUCS Medals and Points.

ENTRIES:                   

Entries will be accepted on a first come, first served basis up to a safety limit to be confirmed by the organisers.

ENTRY FEES:           

There is no fee payable to BUCS – fees for the GBRT 1st Assessment in Boston / Caversham to be paid at Registration on arrival - £10 per seat

CLOSING DATES:   

GBRT 1st Assessment  – 17:00, Thursday 6 November 2014.

GBRT 1st Assessment Para-Rowing – 17:00, Wednesday 5th November 2014 

BUCScore –  20th November 2014, 12 midnight. ( i.e. after the event to allow for those who are eligible to submit entries post-assessment )                                                                                                                                                    AWARDS:                  

Medals will be awarded to competitors finishing in the top three places in each of the BUCS events as long as there are more than 3 entries into the event.

BUCS points will be awarded to the top four places in each of the Men’s and Women’s 1x, Lwt1x and Para-Rowing 1x categories. (12, 8, 6, 4)

BUCS team points ( men’s and women’s ) will be awarded to the Institutions with the best ‘team’ score on the basis of their top 4 results across all of the event categories. ( 20, 14, 10, 7, 5, 3, 2, 1 )

PARKING & USE OF FACILITIES:        

GB Rowing Team will provide security for boats on Saturday night at Boston Rowing Club.     

GENERAL: 

Competitors, their clubs, or Athletic Unions are responsible for all travel, accommodation and subsistence costs.  BUCS cannot accept responsibility for personal loss or injury while attending a BUCS event.
