Overview

Sabre the moment and advance your way to the top of the BUCS Fencing Programme.

The fencing programme has many different opportunties for students to get involved with the sport.
It has a team competition which is a part of the leagues and knockouts. The national league concludes its knockout series at BUCS Big Wednesday.
For those students who want to compete as individual competitions, this is a part of the Nationals held in February.

For London based students, the London Universities Sports League (LUSL) also offers an alternative way to compete in fencing.

Update on BUCS 2020-21 Season

Individual Championships:

Update 10 February: This event has been cancelled for the 2020-21 season due to the ongoing restrictions regarding Covid-19.

Leagues and Knockouts

Having reviewed the latest roadmaps of the home nations and NGBs (with an acknowledgement that this is constantly shifting), BUCS deemed it would not be possible to deliver competition during Term Three.

The team entry process for the 2021-22 season is currently under review, more information will be released shortly.
