With a full squad of precision-driven athletes from universities across the UK, this team is prepped to hit the target on the global stage — and they’re bringing both recurve and compound firepower to the competition.
π― Meet the Archers
Recurve
- Louisa Piper – University of Nottingham
Louisa was second Olympic reserve for both Tokyo and Paris Olympics and already has 15 international career medals to her name so will be one to watch in the recurve category. - Megan Costall – University of Birmingham
Megan is ranked number 2 in Wales 2020-2025, and ranked 5th in GB 2024, has a Silver medal in Archery GB indoor championships 2024, a silver medal in Berlin open indoor championships 2024 and was selected for GB team in the Grand Prix stage 1 in Antalya.
Compound
- Finlay Clark – University of Hull
Finlay was 2024 European Youth Championship bronze medalist, European Youth Cup 2024 silver medalist (U21 Mixed Team) and European Youth Cup 2023 Gold (U18 Individual). Strength and precision make him a key threat in the compound events — expect some high scores. - Grace Chappell – Arts University Bournemouth
Grace brings style and strength to the team, with top-level technique and a sharp competitive edge. She was 1st in Team at European Indoor Championships 2024, 4th in Team at European Outdoor Championships 2024 and 3rd individually in junior European championships 2022. Grace’s highest rankings are UK 4th and 40th in the world. - Chloe Jasmine A’Bear – University of Gloucestershire
Chloe combines elite skill with a calm, calculated approach. She was individual silver medalist at the European youth championships 2024 and 4th in Senior Compound Women National Rankings 2024. - Hallie Boulton – University of Central Lancashire
Known for her consistency and confidence on the line, Hallie is set to make a serious impact. She is World Youth Championships bronze medalist 2023, European youth championships, individual bronze medalist, mixed team gold, team bronze and overall youth cup bronze. - Ajay Scott – University of Kent
Ajay is a rising star in compound with solid competition experience and unwavering focus and has world cup mixed team silver, Kings of Archery silver medal, indoor and outdoor British means champion under his belt.
Target (Open Discipline)
- Callum Anthony Peter Piggott – Coventry University
Callum’s all-round archery ability and adaptability make him a strong asset for the team in target events.
