Wednesday Match days - BUCS Home Games @ Lockleaze | Away Games if available
Description of Services:
As Women’s Football 2nd team coach you will be required to work with the 1st team coach and will be involved in the Women’s football Programme with the following responsibilities:
- Delivery of on pitch sessions (to include pre-season, trials, training, BUCS fixtures and friendlies)
- Plan all sessions so they meet the needs of the participants and are progressive and appropriate
- Maintain appropriate records of your participants’ progress
- Support the student Club Committee to run the club effectively
- Work with the UWE Women’s Football Coaching Team to coordinate women’s football activity
- Engage with coach education opportunities at UWE if desired
You must attend the Coaches Induction at the start of the year (or watch the recording), read and make yourself familiar with the Coaches Handbook and understand UWE policies and procedures, including adhering to finance timescales regarding invoicing.
Please note you must provide a like for like replacement if you are unable to attend a session.
Essential requirements
- To hold a UKCC L2 football Coaching certificate or equivalent in the specified sport
- To have experience coaching sport sessions for the specified sport, ideally women players
- To have £10m Public Liability and £5m Professional Indemnity Insurance

The selection process will include a panel interview and a practical demonstration of your coaching with players from the club.
