Working Hours: Monday evenings and Wednesday afternoon/evening BUCS fixtures.
WLV Sport are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and driven individual to develop our Men’s basketball team(s). The University also participates in British Universities and Colleges Sports (BUCS) where we enter a number of sports teams, two of which are for Men’s Basketball. This role primarily focuses on coaching the Men’s basketball 2nd team while supporting the development of other areas of the basketball programme.
Affording students the opportunity to be more active and play sport is a key aim for the department and as part of this role, the successful individual will have ideas on how to engage a wider portfolio of students and provide an inclusive environment where students feel safe to participate. You will have experience of coaching basketball and will hold the development of others central to your core values.
