Description

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Men’s football coach to deliver coaching support to our men’s football programme and to assist with the development and growth of the university football strategy.

The men’s football coach will work under the remit of the Head of Football and will deliver the technical and tactical aspects of the coaching programme. Furthermore, the post holder will assume responsibility for the men’s 2nd team in the BUCS leagues (Wednesday afternoons) and identify appropriate exit routes for student players to access additional footballing opportunities.

The ideal candidate will hold a UEFA B license in football coaching and will have experience working in football at Higher Education level. The post holder must have a can do attitude, be able to emphasise with students and consider the development of young people central to their coaching philosophy.

Delivery of Hours – 10 hours per week for 40 weeks (delivery of 400 hours) but paid as annualised hours across 52 weeks per year.

On campus requirements include; Monday evenings, Wednesday’s and any other hours as directed by the Head of Football including evening and weekends where required.
