Description

Warwick Sport is looking for a knowledgeable, passionate individual to join our team in this existing role following the internal progression of the current postholder. The Active Wellbeing manager should be highly motivated to make a difference to levels of physical activity within our student, staff and public community and to realise our mission to ‘Build the most active campus community in the UK’. The postholder will be responsible for a highly successful swimming programme as well as an wider Active Wellbeing programme which includes a broad range of activities on campus. These include student sports leagues, our free Rock Up and Play activity for students, a broad course offer and the oversight of a team of dedicated volunteer Sports Activators.

The University of Warwick has an amazing campus, with world class sports facilities and these are used for all of our programmes irrespective of ability of experience of participants. Warwick Sport is passionate about using this platform to have a positive impact and the successful applicant will be joining and collaborating with the wider Warwick Sport team based at the Sports and Wellness Hub but will be expected to work across all our sports facilities on campus.

The breadth of this role provides a great opportunity for candidates both within or outside the Higher Education sector who are excited by the opportunity to use their experience and expertise to continuously improve an already exciting and diverse sport and physical activity offer.
