Description

English Universities Sport (EUS) is the official association in England which administrates and sanctions national representative student competition across higher education. We are a democratic and innovative membership organisation, comprising of a strong Committee, exceptional coach network and professional support staff from the sport and higher education sectors. EUS strives to support the development of all its student athletes and provide opportunities to compete at the highest domestic representative level. Our teams compete in the biennial Home Nations Tournament as well as numerous fixtures against professional and amateur representative clubs from across the UK.

The Programme Workforce Manager Role

+ Support the recruitment of coaching & support staff across all sports

+ Develop onboarding & CPD processes for coaches + Coordinate officials & support staff bookings & on-going engagement

+ Expand the EUS workforce opportunities, through new initiatives for students

+ Oversee safeguarding & workforce compliance processes

+ Work with Head Coaches to ensure staff alignment with programmes

+ Improve volunteer recognition & reward initiatives

Required Skills, Experience & Knowledge:

+ Experience in sport workforce or volunteer management

+ Understanding of safeguarding & DBS procedures

+ Strong organisational & communication skills

+ Familiarity with university sport environments

+ Passion for supporting & developing others

+ Comfortable coordinating multiple roles across programmes
