Description

The University of Nottingham Men’s Rugby Union Club is currently looking to recruit an experienced Assistant Rugby Coach to deliver specialist forwards coaching across our 5 BUCS teams for the 2024-5 season.

The candidate will be Level 2 (ERCA) qualified as a minimum and ideally hold or be working towards their Advanced Coaching Award. The University of Nottingham is one of the top 10 Universities for rugby union in the UK and its 1st team plays in the BUCS Super Rugby league.

The role will include specialist set piece coaching, performance analysis and one to one coaching support. You will be part of an ambitious and successful performance rugby programme. The club play their home BUCS fixtures on Wednesday afternoon, and the main club training sessions are on Monday evening, Friday early morning and Saturday morning.

The role is for c. 5 hours per week and a maximum of 30 weeks delivery, including preseason training.

Our vision is to deliver the most successful rugby experience in the UK. You will work alongside other Assistant Coaches, support staff, club committee members and the Head of Performance Rugby. The total number of contracted hours and the hourly rate (£15-£25) will be dependent on your availability and experience.
