Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised individual to join our team as the International Student Sport Coordinator. This key role leads the coordination and administration of all International and GB Student sport events, including major events like the European Universities Games and Championships, as well as GB Students’ representation at the FISU World University Games and Championships.  

The post holder will also maintain positive partnerships with key sports governing bodies and federations. Success in this position requires strong project coordination skills, with proven experience in forward planning and coordination of multiple priorities effectively to ensure the successful delivery of all events and initiatives.

Our mission to embed sport and active wellbeing at the heard of student experience must be underpinned and enabled by strong strategic partnerships and strong and inclusive foundations of excellent people. 

As the National University Sports Federation for the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland we are responsible for enabling European and National sporting opportunities for students. The primary purpose of the international programme is to enhance the student experience and aid the formative development of talented student athletes and support personnel for future elite sporting pathways.  

We are now looking for an individual to join the team in the position of International Student Sport Coordinator. You will have a unique opportunity to contribute to the planning and delivery of the 2026 – 2027 calendar of International student sporting events, including EUSA Games, FISU World University Championships and future FISU University Games and EUSA Championships.  

Reporting to the Head of International Student Sport, you will be responsible for all associated coordination and administrative tasks that are the foundations to enable all activity to happen. This will vary from liaison with the organising committees, coordinating athlete logistics to communicating with student athletes, members and partners.  

You will have excellent organisational and communication skills. You will have proven experience of working on multiple projects, events and can meet regular and competing deadlines. You will be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Passion for sport and events would be welcome.
