Team Entry Deadline: Thursday 16 February 2023 at 23:59pm
(Institutions must ensure that teams and a team captain are entered and assigned on BUCS Play by this date.)
Team Join Deadline: Tuesday 28 February 2023 at 23:59pm
(Players must ensure that they have joined their respective teams and a team captain/administrator has approved their application on BUCS Play by this date.)
STAGED ENTRY
Should the competition allow more entries, a stage two entry window will open. Priority will be given to the entries received before the stage one entry closing date. Entries received in the stage two window and accepted into the competition, will be charged an additional 20% fee.
Stage 2 Window: Friday 17 February - Thursday 23 February (If this window is to utilised it will be publicised)
Entry Process
To apply for this competition:
Institution Administrators must submit a team entry on BUCS play. Instructions on how to do this can be found here.
Competitors will then need to apply to join their respective team on BUCS Play. Instructions for this can be found here.

Entry Allowance
There is a maximum of 32 teams spaces available at this event. All and any teams representing any institution are eligible to attend.
Priortisation of Places
Please see the Sport Specific Regulations for guidance on the prioritisation of entry spaces. Initially, priority will be given to teams who entered the regional qualifying events.
Touch

Club Affiliation & Membership
All institutions/Playing Entities must be a member of the England Touch Association, regardless of which country within the UK that said institution resides in.

Deadline
Club membership must be valid at the time of entering and attending a BUCS Touch Championships event.
Sanction
If a club is found to not have a valid ETA membership whilst competing at a BUCS Touch Championships event, they and all teams entered from said club will be disqualified from the event.

BUCS Points
BUCS Points are not directly available at this singular event, however the results from this event will count towards the overall standings after the three Championships Rounds are complete. Please see the UTC Season Information Pack for further information.
BUCS Points will be awarded after all three National Championship events have taken place. Please see Appendix 1 for further details of BUCS Points available.

Withdrawals
Withdrawals can be made in writing (Email) to Chris Lamb. If made before the entry deadline of Thursday 16 February 2023 at 23:59pm, they will not be charged the entry fee.
Withdrawals made after the entry deadline of Thursday 16 February 2023 at 23:59pm, will still be charged the entry fee.
