Important Timings

Registration: 08:30-09:00

Registration & Captain/Coaches’ briefing will take place outside the main sports centre. Please ensure you have registered your team’s arrival as soon as you arrive on site.


Tournament briefing: 09:15


Stick Checks (women’s tournaments): 09:45


Competitions Start: 10:00


Presentations: Approx 17:30


Presentations will take place outside Pitchside Café opposite AGP 1. All presentations will be done after the conclusion of the Championship Finals. Where possible, we expect all teams receiving medals teams to attend.

WhatsApp Group

A WhatsApp Group will be used to communicate with teams and post results throughout the day. A sign-up link will be available at registration, or team captains/coaches can add themselves to the group ahead of the competition using the link here, or the QR code below.

 

Team Sheets

Team sheets are not required for this event; however, all players must be registered on BUCS Play by 15th October. A guide for joining your team on BUCS Play can be found here.

Playing Colours & Numbers

All players must wear a playing shirt or bib which is clearly numbered. The number must be visible on both the front AND back of the shirt. Teams must identify playing numbers on the team sheets, no number may be used more than once, and players cannot swap numbers during the tournament.


Where possible, please bring a set of different coloured bibs in event of a clash of playing colours. Where opposing teams are deemed to be wearing colours that are too similar, the first named team on the schedule will be required to change their playing colour.

Playing Surface

Fixtures will be played on either AGP rubber crumb, or grass. The playing surface will be confirmed in the schedule. Each competition will play on one type of surface, No team will be required to play on both surfaces.

Warm-Up Areas

Warm up areas will be available adjacent to pitches. Please do not warm up directly behind goal areas.

Parking

Parking is available on site a Surrey Sports Park. Please use the main car park and main car park overflow. All vehicles parked on site must be registered at the Sports Park reception, and any vehicles not registered will be fined. Parking for minibuses and large 52 seat coaches is also available on site. Please contact Helen Amos, England Lacrosse Competition Lead, if you intend to travel to site via minibus/coach.

BUCS or England Lacrosse will not be liable for any fines issued by Surrey Sports Park during the event.

Changing Rooms

Changing rooms will be available for use during the day at the main sports centre.
Members of staff will be on hand to help direct you to changing rooms, however we would suggest teams come dressed ready to play.

All changing rooms are shared, teams will not be allocated their own room, and changing rooms will not be locked. Please make sure you do not leave any valuables unattended.

Food & Drink

Food: Food and drinks will be available in the following locations:


Pitchside Café – Main Sports Centre
Mobile Catering at Hub 1
Mobile Catering at Hub 2

First Aid

First Aid: Emergency first aid will be provided at each hub.


Teams are expected to bring their own first aid kit with them to treat minor cuts/bruises. The Emergency First Aid team will be on hand in the event of a more serious injury.

Please note: The First Aid team do not provide any physio or taping services.
